Description Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Schedule: Part time, will not exceed 29.5 hours per week Pay: $28.75 Location: Openings in Oneida, NY and Cortland, NY We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

The COTA will support individuals in developing and maintaining functional skills that promote independence in daily living, vocational, prevocational, and homemaking activities. This position works collaboratively with therapists, physicians, staff, and other members of the individual's support team to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.

RESPONSIBILITIES include

the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide occupational therapy services to individuals in accordance with evaluations and treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Implement individualized treatment interventions designed to improve functional, prevocational, vocational, homemaking, and activities of daily living skills Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including the supervising Occupational Therapist, physicians, staff, and other support professionals, to promote continuity of care and successful treatment outcomes Educate and train staff and other support personnel on therapeutic programs and strategies to encourage consistent carryover into the individual's daily routines and activities Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including daily treatment records, billing forms, incident reports, and other required documentation Provide services at assigned clinic and community locations, participate in team meetings, and coordinate with approved vendors as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Requirements Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with appropriate New York State licensure or eligibility Valid NYS Driver's License with approved driving history Ability to maintain current NYS Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure and all required professional certifications and credentialing
