Salesforce Functional Consultant

Job Description: Key Responsibilities Gather and translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Configure Salesforce using declarative capabilities such as Flow, objects/fields, Record Types, Permission Sets, validation rules, reports, and dashboards . Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, defects, and enhancement requests .

Perform functional impact analysis and recommend scalable solutions following Salesforce best practices. Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, releases, and post-deployment validation . Maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures. Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, administrators, and other technical teams.

Support SLA-driven delivery within a managed services environment.

Required Skills

3+ years of Salesforce experience , preferably as a Functional Consultant, Administrator, or Business Analyst. Strong Salesforce administration and declarative configuration skills. Experience with Salesforce Flow, security/access, data model, reports, and dashboards . Strong requirements gathering, troubleshooting, and functional analysis capabilities.

Experience supporting production Salesforce environments. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Certified Administrator Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Salesforce Certified Business Analyst Sales Cloud or Service Cloud experience/certification Experience with Agile, ITIL, Jira/Azure DevOps, or Service.
