Paraprofessional Needed in Brooklyn! Work 1:1 with a pre-school child. Primary Responsibilities Shadow child in classroom and attend to child while there Accompany to therapy sessions (physical, occupational and speech) Respond to medical emergencies that may arise Perform any and all paraprofessional responsibilities as needed Other responsibilities as required by situation and supervisor Requirements GED or high school diploma 3-6 months experience as a paraprofessional Trained in use of Epi-Pen Willing and able to work with medically fragile children in a school environment Must be fingerprinted by the Board of Education.

Fees for fingerprinting to be paid by candidate. Mandated Reporter certified A $25 money order to be paid to the school to complete the SCR Form. This is to be paid by the candidate. Recent Quantiferon TB test (within the last year) Pre-employment Physical Exam (within the last yea r) Titer tests and lab paperwork (within the last year) for: MMR TDAP Varicella Sala ry : $18.
