Execution & Operations Assistant - West Africa

Job Purpose: Support the smooth execution of cotton export operations from West African origins by coordinating logistics, shipping documentation, contract follow-up, and communication between FOB suppliers and Singapore/India execution and trading teams.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all operational activities related to cotton shipments from origin to destination. Liaise daily with FOB suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal operations teams (Singapore/India) to ensure timely execution. Follow up on contract execution, shipment schedules, and documentation timelines. Manage and track shipping documents (BL, invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary, fumigation, etc.)

Coordinate with freight forwarders for booking, trucking, vessel schedules, and container allocations. Ensure accuracy and timely submission of documents to meet contractual and LC requirements. Maintain shipment trackers and execution reports for internal teams. Escalate operational issues proactively to relevant stakeholders to avoid delays.

Qualifications

& Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience in commodity logistics or trade operations or other. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Fluency in English and French Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
