2nd Shift Custodial Position

Position Available April 2026 2nd Shift Custodial Position Windom Area Schools Full Time Position Windom Area Schools is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance/Custodial position for the school district. This is a 12-month full-time position . KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of custodial cleaning practices Special boiler license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Must be able to follow general cleaning & sanitizing procedures Ability to work independently/take direction Be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. frequently Be able to maintain a clean/pleasant environment Must be familiar with electronic means of communication (emails, text messaging, radios, etc.) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience in facility management preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field SALARY RANGE: Union contract hourly range based on education, experience, and qualifications: $19.24 - $22.22 with life insurance, MN Paid Leave, PERA Retirement, 403(b) match. LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, AND REGISTRATIONS: 1st Class C Boiler License or ability to obtain within 3 years of hire.
