Civil Site Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on, field-focused Site Civil Supervisor who thrives on leading from the front, setting the tempo, and driving site operations to a tight program. Boots-on-the-ground supervisor who commands the site, coordinates heavy plant movements seamlessly, and drives direct labor and subcontractors to hit daily milestones without compromising safety or quality.

Key Requirements To be considered, you must demonstrate extensive, hands-on supervisory delivery across all three of the following areas (a partial match will not suffice): Bulk & Detailed Earthmoving: Managing cut-to-fill, sub grade prep, trim, and pad construction. Pit & Pipe / Deep Services: Trenching, conduit installation, cable routes, earthing civils, and drainage infrastructure.

Footing & Foundation Construction: Detailed excavation, rebar, and concrete foundations/slabs for heavy equipment and structures. Preference will be given to candidates with verified civil utilities experience on Substations or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) What You Will Manage On-Site Workforce: Direct leadership of 2 Leading Hands (each heading a crew of 4) plus integrated sub-contractor wet-hire teams.

Heavy Plant Fleet: Active coordination and daily allocation of dozers, graders, compactors, smooth drum/padfoot rollers, Moxy water trucks, 5T and 26T excavators, and large bogie tippers. Traffic & Logistics: Heavily active site logistics, directing a high volume of daily truck and plant movements efficiently and safely.

Site Systems: Daily pre-starts, QA/ITP sign-offs, subcontractor verifications, and digital site reporting via Assignar. Skills & Qualifications Proven track record as a civil supervisor running direct crews and wet-hire plant on fast-paced sites. Comprehensive civil expertise across heavy earthworks, pit and pipe, and concrete foundations.

Solid commercial and program awareness—sharp at identifying out-of-scope works and documenting delays. Strong digital field literacy (Assignar or similar digital platforms). Current Australian Driver’s Licence and White Card. Network/utility inductions (e.g., Transgrid, Endeavour, Ausgrid, Essential Energy) or plant operating tickets.
