The Skill. Bridge Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice is a transitioning service member participating in the DoW Skill. Bridge program who receives hands-on training and mentorship in civilian aircraft maintenance operations. Under the supervision of certificated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) and leadership, the participant supports heavy maintenance operations on Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 aircraft.

Under licensed supervision, apprentices perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections in alignment with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals, customer requirements, and FAA regulations. All training and OJT hours will be logged and utilized toward eligibility for the FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification exams.
