• Electrical Experience Required: 2–3 years Job Location: Noida Preferred Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Preferred Project Exposure: USA, UK, and Middle East projects Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler with 2 - 5 years of experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to support the modeling and coordination of electrical systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, infrastructure, and data center projects. The successful candidate will develop accurate 3D BIM models, prepare construction documentation, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated electrical BIM models that meet project standards, client requirements, and submission deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP, covering lighting, power distribution, cable trays, conduits, earthing, lightning protection, and associated electrical systems. Model electrical equipment, including transformers, switchboards, distribution boards, UPS systems, and generators, based on engineering drawings and specifications.

Prepare coordinated layouts, shop drawings, installation details, and as-built documentation. Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and other disciplines. Participate in clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or similar coordination software. Check equipment access, maintenance clearances, and service routes against project requirements.

Review engineering drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams, and client comments before updating models. Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, BIM execution plans, client requirements, and specified Levels of Development (LOD). Participate in coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Support client reviews by presenting BIM models, clash reports, and coordination resolutions. Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate design revisions and client feedback into BIM deliverables. Generate equipment schedules, quantities, and reports from BIM models. Maintain model quality through regular checks and support timely project submissions.

Requirements

Required Qualifications 2 - 5 years of experience in Electrical BIM Modeling. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, particularly electrical modeling and documentation. Working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination. Understanding of electrical distribution, lighting, containment, earthing, and lightning protection systems.

Ability to interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, specifications, and BIM execution plans. Familiarity with LOD requirements and BIM modeling standards. Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Preference will be given to candidates with a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
