Pastry Chef

Under general supervision, the community baker's primary objective is the preparation of food items to ensure high standard of quality and quantity to meet the needs of the residents for the Residential Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support and Health Center Dining Room. Handles food in accordance with sanitary standards and recognized food preparation standards.

Full-Time Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 10:30am-6:30pm Pay range $23 to $25 an hour. Depending on experience. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education

• High school diploma or equivalent Some culinary schooling preferred Experience/Training - 5+ years of prior culinary, food service, or restaurant experience Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• Serv. Safe certification and/or Food Handlers Certification or enrollment in the certification course preferred. To be successful in this role, you would have: High school Level diploma, GED or equivalent knowledge or experience is preferred. Experience preferred in similar role Food Handlers Certificate preferred What's in it for you?
