Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technologists (SPTs) are essential members of the healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the safety of surgical instruments and other materials. Level I SPTs are entry-level positions, but incumbents are expected to learn the full range of duties and responsibilities quickly. Level III SPTs must be certified and have extensive experience.
