(PH) Web Developer (WordPress)

This is a remote position. Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible) About the Role We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with strong WordPress experience to design, develop, maintain, and optimize websites. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with website development, plugin integration, troubleshooting, and SEO implementation, ensuring websites are both visually appealing and high-performing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites. Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing websites. Install, configure, and troubleshoot WordPress themes and plugins. Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins into WordPress websites. Optimize website speed, security, and overall performance. Implement on-page SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.

Perform regular website updates, maintenance, backups, and bug fixes. Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to implement new website features. Ensure websites are compatible across different browsers and devices.

Required Skills

& Experience WordPress Development and Maintenance Website Maintenance, Plugin Updates, and Basic Troubleshooting SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Practices and Internal Linking WordPress Plugin Integration Experience integrating third-party tools and platforms with WordPress Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is an advantage. Experience with website performance optimization and security best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg. Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools. Experience working remotely with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
