Fresh Coordinator Buyer

POSITION SUMMARY

The Fresh Coordinator will oversee the refrigerated, produce, and local sections for Nature’s Wonders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Orders produce, refrigerated, local and some seasonal products. Oversees fresh stocker to ensure produce and fresh are stocked and arranged in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Handles, stocks, and faces product. Enters invoices into Catapult and maintains pricing accuracy. Provides ideas/specials for social media/marketing.

Partners with Database Coordinator to maintain spending budget. Partners with vendors and reps to maximize spending budget. Assists with cashier and barista duties as needed. ALL OTHER DUTIERS AS ASSIGNED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Excellent organizational skills and attention to details Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Adaptability to new processes and procedures. Excellent self-motivation and initiative while unsupervised. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: N/A PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regular computer work, walking and standing Occasional sitting Seldom to never lifting up to 50lbs WORK ENVIRONMENT: Retail/Grocery INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT : Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.

Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
