Responds to various emergency codes, performing duties such as maintaining the airway, intubation, chest compressions, and ventilator setup. Determines requirements for treatment, including type, method, duration of therapy, precautions, and medication dosages compatible with providers' orders. Performs diagnostic testing per facility needs.

Monitors patients' physiological responses to therapy, such as vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry changes, consulting with providers if adverse reactions occur. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. [Required] Additional languages preferred.

[Preferred] Possess a broad Respiratory knowledge, leadership ability, accepts responsibility, exercises authority, and functions independently [Required] Demonstrated supervisory skills [Required] Good communication skills for interdepartmental relationships [Required] Education: Associate's in respiratory therapy or cardiopulmonary science [Required] Work Experience: 3+ years experience in a hospital as an RRT [Required] 1+ years of critical care experience [Required] Licenses and Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] Basic Life Support
