Finance Expert

We are looking for a As a LOCAL FINANCE EXPERT , you will be responsible for reliable and timely financial reporting for our Belgian and German entities, while also supporting the financial follow-up of the Italian branch. You will combine hands-on accounting expertise with a coordinating role, ensuring that local requirements, intercompany processes and group reporting standards are properly aligned.

You will take a leading role in the monthly and year-end closing processes. This includes preparing balance sheet reviews, following up on key reconciliations and ensuring that financial data is complete, accurate and submitted on time for group reporting. You will also be responsible for coordinate the preparation of the local statutory accounts and provide the required financial information for external audits and tax reporting.

By working closely with auditors, the Tax team and internal stakeholders, you help ensure a smooth and well-organized reporting process. Throughout the month, you will investigate a broad range of accounting topics, including invoicing and intercompany issues, identify their underlying causes and coordinate practical solutions with colleagues across finance, controlling, HR, sales and other departments.

You will ensure that financial analyses, reconciliations and supporting documents are clearly structured and accessible. You will contribute to the annual workers council process and provide clear input for management and group reporting. With your proactive approach, you contribute to continuous improvement and to a strong, dependable local finance organization.

As part of this role, you will also stay closely connected with colleagues in Emmerich, with occasional travel to the site when needed to align on local finance topics and strengthen collaboration.
