Profession: Licensed Practical Nurse Specialty: Long-Term Care / Sub-Acute Rehab Location: Walkersville, MD Facility: Skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation center Job Type: Per Diem (PRN) Hourly Rate: $36.86 Shift: Days 7:00AM–3:00PM; Evenings 3:00PM–11:00PM; Nights 11:00PM–7:00AM ET; 4-hour partial shifts available Duration: 8 hours (some 4-hour shifts) Experience: 1 year of LPN experience (long-term care preferred) License: Active and unencumbered Maryland LPN or compact license Certifications: BLS Job Duties & Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments to assigned residents under RN/physician direction Monitor vital signs and resident condition and report changes to the charge nurse Perform treatments such as wound care, catheter care and glucose monitoring Document care accurately and support GNAs/CNAs on the unit Requirements Must have 1 year of LPN experience, long-term care or sub-acute preferred Active and unencumbered Maryland LPN or compact license Active BLS Certification (AHA only) Negative TB within last 12 months Hep B Series or Titer MMR Series or Titer Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer Varicella Series or Titer
