Senior Commercial Finance Director
Job description
Senior Commercial Finance Director Location: Los Angeles, CA This person will be responsible for the regions P&L delivery by providing actionable insights through persistent analysis and financial performance evaluation. Working in close collaboration with Distributor counterparts, this individual will play an integral role in reviewing commercial performance, optimization of revenue and gross profit, identification of risks and opportunities, and providing actionable insights during all business processes.
This individual will interact significantly with the Distributor partners to monitor all financial and depletion- based performance aspects of the relationships.

Responsibilities
With our Consumer at the heart, your key responsibilities will be to: Key point of contact for the VP Sales, VP Commercial, and Distributor Partners focusing on forward looking analysis, value generating insights and reporting performance versus execution of commercial strategies Owns all aspects of the regions P&L Develop, coach and mentor a team of 2 reports Leads all RGM and pricing initiatives for their regions Strong lead and/ or contributor to business cycles: planning, budgeting, S&OP, assessment of R&O, drivers & solutions Ensures all analytics initiatives are fully supported and implemented successfully Maintain strong communication, including R&O identification, with FP&A and the Financial reporting teams Provides strategic analysis and practical direction for the business unit to ensure maximization of brand value (gross profit) in accordance with brand strategy Works closely with the National RGM team to ensure regional pricing strategies are on point and implemented Conduct ROI analysis to assess potential and actual impact of programs in key selling channels Lead and contribute in internal cross functional and external Joined Up Business Planning (JUBP) Reconciles, with the support to the commercial teams, distributor P&L management in regard to all aspects of internal commercial elements (NSV, Pricing, Discounts, Gross Profit) Takes a leadership role in initiating, managing, and executing ad-hoc projects Enables a team with a core competence around analytics & financial management within the commercial team by providing insight, targeted objectives, and training Skills and Experience The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy Ability to lead, influence, and negotiate - especially Commercial Decisions Healthy internal & external working relationships, especially with Commercial teams, Distributor, Supplier, Full book (SGWS) Thought Leadership, Partnership, & Value Creation Mindset Mentality - for both Companies Leadership & coaching to ensure high performance behavior & results Ability to balance sense of urgency / timeliness with data/facts, but able to drive to timely decisions efficiently Strong Financial Acumen, technical skills, data savvy, ability to execute strategies in market appropriately High comfort modelling and understanding large and complex data sets into useful information and insights Strong Communication Skills - written, verbal, presentation Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels to achieve desired goals Knowledge of finance and accounting practices and ability to apply this appropriately to diverse situations Personal Qualities Solution oriented, with positive & proactive attitude Ability to engage and motivate all internal and external partners High intellectual curiosity and learning agility Ability to read situations and audiences to navigate with the appropriate political savviness and effective presence to lead and influence Other We are looking for people who are globally mobile and aspire to experience different cultures.
