Veterinary Referral Coordinator

Description Wake Vet is a 24-hour hybrid hospital offering primary care, emergency, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, advanced imaging (ultrasound and 64-slice CT), and cardiology services through our partnership with CVCA. We’ve recently doubled our facility space, added dedicated special procedures and chemotherapy rooms, and expanded our diagnostic capabilities to better support our patients and referring veterinarians.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Referral Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between our specialty departments, clients, and referring veterinarians.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between clients, referring veterinarians, and hospital specialty departments. Coordinate and schedule appointments for Specialty Surgery, Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Advanced Imaging services. Demonstrate knowledge of veterinary medical procedures and terminology to effectively communicate with clients and veterinary professionals.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up for all referrals and communications. Support hospital operations with professionalism and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience required. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and positivity under pressure. Ezy. Vet experience is a plus. Attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
