Assistant Accounts Officer - Finance

ROLE OVERVIEW PURPOSE OF JOB Provide junior-level support to Financial Controllers across a shared international portfolio. Assist with core finance and administrative tasks that support the delivery of management accounts and related reporting requirements. Contribute to a team structure that supports efficient delivery, appropriate role layering, and long-term junior development within PCS Finance.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Support the preparation of management accounts and related finance deliverables. Prepare journals, supporting schedules, and working papers. Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and other control processes. Provide support for audits, statutory filings, and other reporting requirements.

Help maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Assist with administrative finance tasks across the team as required. Work across a shared portfolio, supporting different team members based on business need. Build knowledge of core finance processes and develop into broader management accounts activity over time.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Entry-level role with no prior experience required. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Good organisational skills and ability to manage routine tasks accurately. Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting multiple stakeholders. Basic Excel and general IT skills. Positive, proactive approach and willingness to develop within a finance environment.
