About the Role

We’re looking for people who are passionate about solving problems, don’t shy away from leading features and projects, and are sharp and creative enough to find outside-the-box solutions to our wide range of product initiatives What you'll do: Design & Scale Core Pipelines: Architect, implement, and deploy our complex, highly-scalable data processing pipeline focused on analyzing massive amounts of data.

Tackle Diverse Data Challenges: Work hands-on with vast construction data—ranging from scheduling and BIM to video processing and 3D model analysis. Architect and integrate various Computer Vision and data processing algorithms into a robust, cloud-based production environment to generate unique insights. Ensure Performance: Maintain a relentless focus on performance, reliability, and scalability as you process data from real-world construction sites globally.

Tech Stack Focus: Develop primarily using Python in a modern cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred). Advanced AI Integration: "Skilled in pushing AI tools to the next level- moving from simple chat interfaces to building autonomous scripts, agents, or custom workflows that optimize system performance and reliability. Ownership from 0 to 1: You will have real influence over our architecture and tooling.

We want engineers who care about shaping what we build and how we build it, ensuring performance and observability are baked in from day one Requirements: A seasoned backend engineer (7+ years) with strong Python experience. BSc. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Proven expertise in large scale systems, specifically focusing on backend development, systems architecture, and high-volume data processing.

Experience with high-performance, decentralized code development, and parallel processing. AI-Native Engineering : You are an AI-native engineer who leverages LLMs and agentic tools (like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude) not just for code completion, but as a core architectural partner to accelerate the entire development lifecycle allowing you to focus on the critical things.

Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where your architectural decisions have company-wide impact. Have a proven track record of being a collaborative team player! Skilled in AWS, Docker/Kubernetes , and message queuing/streaming systems (SQS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ). You care deeply about writing clean, testable code and building observable systems (monitoring, logging, metrics).

Experienced with CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native design. Experience with Databases (relational and/or NoSQL).

Nice to have

Requirements

backend engineer (7+ years) Python/ Java/ Go e xperience. Cloud experience (AWS/ GCP/ Azure) Docker/Kubernetes BSc. in Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Proven expertise in large scale systems, high-performance, decentralized code development, and parallel processing. AI-Native Engineering Experience with 3D rendering or Computer Vision domains- advantage.
