Part-Time Morning Cleaner – Glossop

Location: Howard Street, Glossop, SK13 7DF Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours: 5 hours per week Days: Monday to Friday Shift: 8:00am – 9:00am Start Date: ASAP Contract: Temporary Cover We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Morning Cleaner to work at a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site in Glossop.

This is a part-time position working 1 hour each morning, Monday to Friday, providing 5 hours of regular work per week. Duties General cleaning throughout the site Cleaning offices and communal areas Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints Emptying bins and disposing of waste Replenishing consumables where required Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building Requirements Requirements Due to the nature of the DWP site, successful candidates will be required to complete the necessary pre-employment screening, including: BPSS clearance required Valid Right to Work documentation Previous cleaning experience preferred Reliable and punctual Comfortable with lone working Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating an alarm panel where required Able to commit to Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 9:00am Candidates will also be required to use a telephone-based time and attendance system to clock in and out.
