Job Description Job Summary The Maintenance Engineer at Shriners Hospitals for Children is responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the hospital's physical plant, equipment, and grounds. This role ensures a comfortable, functional, and secure environment for patients, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Informs management of malfunctioning equipment Visually inspects equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repairs, adjustment or lubrication Maintains building by performing repairs and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities Adheres to all hospital policies and procedures Performs work in a safe manner, follows safety precautions, utilizes all safety equipment Responds in an appropriate time frame to repair requests Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma/GED 2 years Maintenance/Engineering The pay range for this position is $32.15 - $48.24.
Compensation
is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
