Barista Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista Lead to join our team at Basecamp Cafe at the Lightwell Hotel + Spa. The Barista Lead will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, including preparing and serving beverages, managing inventory, training new baristas, and providing excellent customer service.

This role will be full-time position providing guidance for new employees, assist with scheduling, and training for the team. As the lead you will guide and develop a small diverse team working alongside the hotel.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks Manage inventory and order supplies as needed Train and mentor new baristas Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the coffee shop Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints Assist with scheduling and coordinating staff shifts Requirements: Prior experience as a barista or in a similar role Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Paid Time Off Employee Discounts 401K and match
