About the Role

The Greet Team Member plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive first impression for all customers entering the establishment. This position is focused on delivering exceptional customer service by warmly greeting guests, answering initial inquiries, and guiding them to appropriate services or areas. The role requires attentiveness to customer needs and the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with diverse individuals.

By maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor, the Greet Team Member helps foster a comfortable and inviting environment that encourages customer satisfaction and loyalty. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to the overall customer experience and supports the smooth operation of the team and facility.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service-oriented position Minimum of one (1) year cash handling experience Demonstrate ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service. PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products, such as ABC and Gym. Sales Valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment and maintain throughout employment Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles.

Responsibilities

Greet all members and guests in a professional, courteous, and pleasant manner Verify membership status and respond accordingly to questions, concerns, etc. Work with Greet Team Manager to achieve club sales goals Answer and/or direct all incoming calls promptly and courteously Conduct periodic club walks to ensure a clean and safe facility Accurately process money transactions Place calls to prospective members regarding new promotions Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace Communicate all club concerns and member inquiries to management daily Provide tours for prospective members Personal Performance Metrics: Daily Calls: 20 Monthly Booked: 20 Monthly Shows: 10 Monthly Closed: 5 Referrals: 2:1 Ratio 3-pack Attachment: 20% Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write Benefits: Commission incentive opportunities Paid Time Off/Sick Leave Gym Membership (full access to our gym facilities at no cost to team members) Staff Pass Memberships (complementary memberships for family & friends) Discounted Personal Training Sessions Comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans Life / AD&D Insurance
