Class A Local Truck Driver

Job Description: We are actively hiring Class A Local Truck Drivers for a highly lucrative intermodal account out of the Mechanicville and Albany, NY area. If you are looking for a true home-daily position that pays like a regional route, this is an incredible opportunity. You will operate within a 250-mile radius pulling intermodal containers, and best of all, this route requires absolutely NO NYC driving.

This is a fast-paced, high-earning local route. Drivers on this account average 1,800 miles and about 12 loads per week. Because you are paid a base CPM plus high activity pay for every stop, your earning potential is completely in your hands, with top drivers grossing up to $100,000 annually. The freight is a majority no-touch, with about 70% being simple drop-and-hook.

To keep the freight moving, this account operates on a slip-seat basis using company-owned day cabs, meaning your truck will remain at the rail ramp during your time off. You must be comfortable working approximately 12-hour shifts with early morning start times (either midnight or 3:00 AM) and working through the weekend on either a Thursday–Monday or Friday–Tuesday schedule.
