Promotions Controller

Application Closing Date: 28 Oct 2026 Compensation Grade: C Lower Purpose of the Role: Based in Jet Park, to work with Category Buyers, Retailers, SPAR South Rand DC and Central Office in coordinating all regional promotional activities ensuring accurate promotional schedules are handed over timeously to tops Category Manager, and implement any changes required.

Job Description : Ensure compliance or adherence to critical path for all promotions Send product selection sheet to stores (promotions) Sign off final price changes Create suffix’s on promotional item with agreed price from Category/Promotions Manager Load promotions on PPA/AS400 – download to stores Draw up costing sheet for from the planners and populate.

Assist with any marketing functions that might be Effective communication with retailers and ROMS Distribute and ensure all action points are communicated to marketing members Maintain and grow excellent relationships with retailers through effective communication in terms of promotions issues Analyse and resolve retailer queries, provide timeous solutions and feedback Assist with any office admin and marketing functions that might be assigned Check national and retail pricing to ensure accuracy of information against AS400 and final document Ensure compliance or adherence to critical path for all promotions Run extract of the promotion schedule and check integrity of data Send product selection sheet to stores (promotion) Update all changes and ensure accuracy of data in terms of promotions Run an analysis for the procurement team Post promo data analysis Qualification in Marketing/Advertising required 2 years’ work experience in Marketing/Advertising Power Bi & Price probe Retail/FMCG knowledge Education: National Senior Certificate _Matric (Required) Skills: Communication, Data Accuracy, Detail-Oriented, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook Competencies : Work Experience : Employment Equity: SPAR South Rand is an equal opportunity employer.
