Recreation Counselor

Under the supervision of the Recreation Manager, the Counselor assists supervising the youth's recreational activities. Strong sense of teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills desired. Provides assistance to participants who require additional support to fully participate in activities. This role promotes independence, positive social interactions, and active participation while helping ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participants throughout the program.

Assists with special programs, activities and events. High school diploma or GED required. Three (3) years of related experience with children, teens, or adults with disabilities or diverse support needs required. Must have CPR Certification and First Aid Certification or able to obtain within 3 months of hire.
