Laundry Aide

Luxury Senior Living Communities In Coral Gables, Kendall & Homestead Is looking for Laundry Aide for its Palace Nursing Home & Rehab Center 11215 SW 84th Street Miami, FL 33173 Joint Commission Accredited, 2015 The #1 Priority of this position is… To maintain and distribute a clean supply of bed linens, towels and wash cloths for our residents as well as maintain residents’ personal laundry which have to be maintained in a clean, non-wrinkled and spot free state.

Essential Duties

& Responsibilities Wash all laundry, separate items & distribute to residents’ rooms as outlined in policies & procedures. Keep laundry room and shelves clean and organized. Fold and put away towels, sheets, blankets, etc. Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

Experience in healthcare setting preferred A high school degree or equivalent preferred. Must be able to communicate in English. Spanish preferred. The Ideal Candidate Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented. Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations.

Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member. Demonstrate good verbal communications, interpersonal skills & empathetic listening.
