Department Summary: * Work in an Engineering environment contributing to the design and manufacture of leading-edge Process Automation for the eCommerce and process automation industries. Fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Position Summary

The Production Material Expeditor will oversee material needs/issues, comparing both production demand and planned material receipts, to work to ensure materials are received in time for planned production tasks. Core Responsibilities: * Ensures MRP demand is met by reviewing both inventory and planned material receipts to identify shortages * Work with the Production Planner to under planning schedule * Communicates with suppliers to maintain frequency communications and tracking of schedules to the planned delivery dates * Supports Production staff to identify solutions to material problems Required: * High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • At least two years of experience in related disciplines including production planning or assembly work, preferred. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong supervisory and leadership skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. * Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints to draft clear and detailed manufacturing procedures. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Preferred: * Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related area preferred.
