Coronal Polisher / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Serenity Smiles Dental Care is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Coronal Polisher/Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Our practice is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care in a calm and welcoming environment. We proudly serve patients from all backgrounds, with a special focus on helping individuals who experience dental anxiety or fear.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled chairside assistance during general dental procedures. Perform coronal polishing under the dentist’s supervision. Take high-quality digital radiographs. Monitor patients receiving nitrous oxide, as permitted by Tennessee regulations. Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment rooms. Properly sterilize and organize instruments.

Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive care. Help patients feel safe, comfortable, and respected. Support an efficient clinical schedule and smooth patient flow. Work proactively with the clinical and administrative teams. Required Qualifications: Current Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant registration.

Current coronal polishing certification. Current dental radiology certification. Current nitrous oxide monitoring certification. At least one year of general dentistry experience . Strong communication and patient-care skills. Dependable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Open Dental. Bilingual abilities are a plus but are not required.
