• Port Richey, FL, Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.50Hourly, Job Category: Christmas, Schedule/Hours: M-F/ Full time Pay Range: $15.00-$15.50 This position is responsible for: Working in the Christmas center; lifts, carries, loads and unloads variety of donations that may include furniture, appliances, clothing, etc.; works to promote the safety and security of the warehouse; assists with the clean up, lay out, and set up of the warehouse; assists with possible pick up from the malls or corporations, if necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse. Distributes donations to their proper place as instructed in the warehouse. Clean and service assigned areas in the Christmas Center. Maintains good relationship with donors to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Work requires an ability to follow instructions acquired through a partial high school education. Friendly personality. Must have physical strength adequate to carry and unload materials from truck and in warehouse. Must be able to work independently, and must be willing to work shifts that vary from day to night and be on call weekends.

Must be organized. Job requires considerable physical effort and may entail some pressure and fatigue. Proactive demeanor and willingness to work with individuals of various backgrounds and ages. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.

Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures and discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
