Technical Officer

Chloorkop Main Purpose of the job To manage technical investigations and projects on site this includes modifications and improvements To provide technical input to assist in maximizing efficiencies and reliability of the plant Ensure capital projects are completed on time and within budget.

Education

/ Qualification Required Grade 12 National Diploma Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or B-Tech degree in Chemical Engineering Experience Required At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience in chemical plants Knowledge of engineering principles, design and manufacturing standards Exposure to risk assessment and HAZOP studies Knowledge of tendering processes and documentation Competencies required A: Skills Technical writing skills Leadership Influence Concern for standards Analytical and innovation skills Drive for results and attention to detail Presentation Computer MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word Administration and record Keeping B: Knowledge Quality Awareness Environmental Awareness Hazardous Chemicals Substances Basic Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act C: Behaviours (Attributes) Attention to detail Communication Planning and Organising Analytical thinking AECI respects your right to privacy.
