Lab Assistant - North Campus Clinical Lab

Performs various routine functions precisely and accurately#to assist the laboratory professional staff and to facilitate testing by receiving and processing specimens, performing#clerical tasks and assist with fine needle aspirations as needed.# Assist with other non-complex tasks in the lab such as loading samples onto instruments, quality control, and with proper training and education may assist with waived testing.

Qualifications: Lab Assistant I # HS or GED required, phlebotomy or transcription experience preferred. Lab Assistant II # HS or GED required and a certified phlebotomist, or AS in health related sciences or Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Medical Technology. Lab Assistant III # BS required in health related sciences or Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Medical Technology.
