Student Engineer

ATI Huntsville is seeking to fill a quality department student engineer position . Primary Responsibilities This quality student engineer position will learn to develop variety of quality engineering and administrative skills in a real-world material manufacturing environment which includes, Quality data and record processing and maintenance.

(QSTOP/Datapack Archive) Engage in daily quality and safety improvement activities. (Safety card/QSTOP card) Support production manufacturing process instruction reviews. (Traveler) Support various quality compliance audits. (External/Internal Audit) Support calibration of inspection equipment and CMM operations. (Calibration/CMM) Support document control system management (Document Control) Support contract reviews and customer/industry spec reviews (Contract Review/SO review) Support manufacturing quality planning (Quality Plan) Support material quality test sample tracking and test report reviews.

(Sample tracking/Report review) Support material certification data entry (Cert) Participate problem solving activities. (PSR) Support any other quality engineering and administration tasks of quality department assigned by supervisor. Proven to Perform. Qualifications

Engineering student is preferred. Minimum high school diploma is required. Must be able to use copying and scanning equipment. Must be able to prove proficiency in PC Microsoft Windows system and Microsoft Office document creation/editing. Must be an effective communicator.
