2nd Shift CNC Operator Erie Industrial Products (EIP) – Oberlin, OH Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM–11:00 PM Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite Build Your Future with Erie Industrial Products Erie Industrial Products (EIP) is looking for an experienced 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Oberlin, Ohio.

We’re looking for a skilled CNC professional who takes pride in precision machining, producing high-quality parts, and solving problems on the shop floor. If you have hands-on CNC experience and are ready to grow your skills while working with advanced machining equipment, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and grinders to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production documentation.
• Change fixtures, tooling, and tooling offsets to ensure accurate machine setups.
• Edit CNC programs and adjust G & M Codes, speeds, and feeds as needed.
• Work with X, Y, and Z axes, including 4th- and 5th-axis machining.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues.
• Work with production and engineering teams to resolve problems and maintain efficient operations.
• Ensure parts meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Meet daily production and quality expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned. What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED. - 1+ year of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.
• Knowledge of X, Y, and Z axes with an understanding of 4th- and 5th-axis machining.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of G & M Codes and CNC program editing.
• Experience adjusting tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
