JOB PURPOSE The position is envisaged to handle and manage Airport Sector Construction contracts, transactions, and legal matters pertaining to infrastructure, construction, commercial, procurement, and project assignments. The incumbent will be responsible for structuring transactions, handling and advising on legal and contractual issues, providing risk mitigation strategies, managing regulatory and compliance requirements, obtaining internal and external legal opinions, driving strategic legal initiatives, and maintaining strong governance standards.

The incumbent will review, negotiate, structure, and advise business teams on a wide range of contracts and transactions entered into by Airport Sector Construction. The role will also involve drafting, reviewing, and modifying communications with government authorities, regulators, statutory bodies, and external stakeholders.

Ensure contracts safeguard organizational interests and maintain standard contract templates.

• Reduction in contract negotiation cycle time Legal Advisory & Risk Management Provide legal advice to business stakeholders, identify legal and commercial risks, and recommend mitigation measures for business transactions.
• Timely response to legal queries as per SLA

• Zero major losses due to unmanaged legal risks EPC & Infrastructure Contract Management Support project teams on contract administration, claims, variations, EOTs and contractual interpretations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Compliance with contractual obligations Tendering & Procurement Support Review RFQs, RFPs, bid documents, LOAs and procurement contracts. Ensure legal compliance throughout tendering activities.

Thus, the incumbent would be required to possess maturity and professional dexterity to handle such critical and time bound assignments. Due to the nature of complexity and highly regulated business, research skill is must to render legal advice and structuring the agreements on various nature of issues at Airport. With the growth at the Airport, various challenges are being faced on regular basis. The incumbent will be required to analyze the situation and advise the business team and prepare the documentation accordingly.

EDUCATION

QUALIFICATIONS
