• General Practice � Hickory Veterinary & specialty Hospital Plymouth Meeting, PA | Full Time $2,000 retention bonus Schedule & Pay Four 10-hour shifts with one weekend day/week Starting at $18.00/hour, commensurate with experience and licensure Why Hickory Medical/Dental/Vision � 401k with match � PTO + CE allowance � Tuition reimbursement � Paid Lunch Breaks � Pet care discounts � Pet food discounts � Paid volunteer time � Uniform allowance What You�ll Do Assisting veterinarians with routine general practice procedures: exams, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, lab work, venipuncture, and catheter placement Support with patient intake, client communication, and education on treatments Preparing patients for appointments, including reviewing and interpreting bloodwork, medical history, and diagnostics Administering and monitoring medications, ensuring safe and accurate patient care Communicating effectively and empathetically with clients during consultations, discharges, and follow-up updates Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting seamless case management Collaborating closely with veterinarians and fellow technicians to ensure comprehensive patient care Supporting other hospital teams as needed once duties are complete What You Bring CVT/LVT/RVT licensure preferred Solid understanding of veterinary medical terminology, medications, and disease processes Strong communication skills for client education and team collaboration Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multitask in a fast-paced environment A commitment to providing exceptional patient and client care Ready to take the next step?
