Job description
Under supervision, the Equipment Operator II operates a variety of material moving equipment used in the maintenance and repair of streets, water and sewer lines, collection and transportation of solid waste, landfill and other utility facilities and services, etc. This is the second level of a three level series. It is distinguished by the first level, Equipment Operator I, in that incumbents are expected to operate a greater variety of equipment which is categorized as medium to heavy duty.
