Join a team that has problem solving down to a science. Your Opportunity We are looking for a Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Intern, to join our team. Working with the geotechnical team in Denver, CO or Fort Collins, CO. Your Key Responsibilities The specific roles and responsibilities of this opportunity are: Assisting in the development and execution of geotechnical field programs Writing technical reports that summarize methods, results, conclusions and recommendations Helping prepare technical proposals and cost estimates Compiling subsurface investigation or laboratory data Describing soil and bedrock samples using standard classification systems Assisting with geotechnical calculations or analyses for design projects Conducting desktop research to support technical project work Your Capabilities and Credentials The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong ability to work independently and in groups. Ability to analyze information, data, and develop appropriate conclusions. Results-oriented attitude with the ability to excel in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Education and Experience
Currently working towards a undergraduate or graduate level university degree in civil or environmental engineering. Working towards a graduate degree would be considered an asset.
