Job description

The IBOR Accounting Specialist II (SP2) is responsible for accurate, timely, and controlled processing across the Investment Book of Record (IBOR). These roles own end‑to‑end account processing and reconciliation activities for medium to high complexity accounts, drive resolution of breaks between IBOR and third‑party sources and collaborate across Middle Office Operations to maintain data integrity and support downstream consumers.

Specialist II can communicate clearly with internal and external partners, document remediation, and ensure updates are reflected promptly in IBOR systems. Responsible for processing, monitoring, researching, and analyzing IBOR transactions and resolving complex inquiries independently Coordinates with multiple internal stakeholders and external clients to gather and disseminate data-related information about transactions. Conducts research to gather information on complex transactions and data-related, straightforward inquiries for Listed Assets: Equities, Fixed Income securities, Government Bonds, Money Markets, etc.

Responsible for IBOR Portfolio Accounting activities and Reconciliations (cash, asset, and market value), break assignment, investigation, and resolution of breaks for complex accounts Responsible for the daily monitoring, processing, and reporting of IBOR activities not limited to account maintenance, security reference, pricing, portfolio valuation, asset transfers, monthly accounting close processes, cash projection reports, cash management support, monthly end-client statement workflow and validation and ad hoc reporting.

Focus is on gaining experience and developing Middle Office IBOR skills and expertise in APAC markets. Escalates complex transactions to senior team members and provides guidance to less experienced team members. Collaborate with a group of internal and external stakeholders to deliver recommendations to complex inquiries.

Regularly interacts with clients in providing consultation and resolving complex inquiries and transactions. No direct reports. Provides guidance to less experienced Middle Office staff as needed. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

3-6 years of total relevant work experience and experience in reconciliation and portfolio accounting is preferred
