Cost Analyst

SUMMARY : Foxconn is seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Cost Management (CM) Manager to join our Houston manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have more than 7 years of progressive experience in cost and financial analysis, with strong knowledge of budgeting, P&L, KPI management, and U.S. tax compliance.

This role is responsible for overseeing operational financial controls, evaluating performance data, and ensuring fiscal accountability across the business unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Act as a financial business partner to the site leadership, offering cost analysis, P&L insights, and strategic financial recommendations.
2. Manage and analyze OPEX/CAPEX budgets, including investment reviews, expense control, asset management, and financial audits.
3. Monitor and evaluate key operational KPIs, provide variance analysis, and follow up on corrective actions.
4. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, particularly in the state of Texas.
5. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested. SCOPE OF AUTHORITY:
6. Oversees the day-to-day operations of financial and cost control functions.
7. Define and improve workflow processes for effective budget and cost tracking.
8. Develops and manages departmental budgets and advises on investment planning
9. Provides recommendations on financial procedures and internal controls.
10. Does not currently manage direct reports but may provide cross-functional guidance. POSITION QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT:
11. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
12. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
13. Experience working in multicultural teams and international corporate structures is a plus.
14. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and cost control in a production setting is highly desirable. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are strongly preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE : Minimum 1+ years maximum 3 of experience in financial or accounting management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Prior experience within the Foxconn Group is a plus but not mandatory.
