1. Our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service plays a vital role in supporting families by offering a safe, engaging, and welcoming space for children beyond the school day.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our OSHC team on a casual basis . As an OSHC Educator, you will work under general supervision to help deliver high‑quality programs that support children’s wellbeing, learning, and development.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating OSHC and Vacation Care programs. Support children’s inclusion, wellbeing, and daily routines, including personal care when required. Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, school policies, and the National Quality Framework.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to general administrative tasks. Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional learning.

About You

Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of St Augustine’s Parish School. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with children, families, and staff. Experience working with children, including those with additional needs (highly desirable). Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions in varied situations.

Physical capacity to engage in active play and safely set up learning environments. Understanding of professional boundaries, confidentiality, and child‑safe practices. Essential Requirements: Certificate III in Children’s Services, Education Support, or a related discipline (or equivalent competencies). Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN) training. Approved First Aid qualification (as per ACECQA requirements). Ability to meet Work Health & Safety obligations. Why Join Us?
