Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Douglas County Jail. This is a great opportunity for a nurse looking for consistent weekend hours, supplemental income, or a part-time schedule that fits around other commitments. 🩺 What You’ll Do As a member of our healthcare team, you will: Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care Administer medications and treatments as ordered Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions Respond to medical concerns and emergencies with professionalism Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and correctional staff Promote continuity of care while following established clinical standards and policies Provide care in a safe, secure, and structured correctional environment Qualifications: 📋 Qualifications Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the State of Wisconsin Current CPR certification Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a healthcare team Previous nursing experience preferred Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
