secker@emplifyhealth.org Job Description: The Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) is responsible for programming that encompasses treatment, leisure education, and recreation participation. Through the use of assessments and therapeutic interventions, the CTRS plans, implements, coordinates, and educates to promote a healthy leisure lifestyle.

The CTRS collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care in accordance with the vision and mission of the Emplify Health System. The CTRS utilizes treatment modalities according to ATRA and NTRS Standards of Practice. This position would be working on the Adult Unit of the Inpatient Facility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation required. Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) certification within six months of hire date required.
