Coder Medical Record II

The Emergency Department (ED) Coder (Coder II) is responsible for the accurate review, abstraction, coding, and billing of Emergency Department encounters in compliance with federal, state, payer, and organizational regulations. This role ensures the integrity of clinical documentation and reimbursement through the assignment of appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes while supporting regulatory reporting and revenue cycle objectives.
