Who we are: The Anderson-Du. Bose Company, established in 1991, is a full-service distribution company for major quick service restaurants in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. We currently have four distribution center locations: Lordstown, Ohio (headquarters), Rochester, New York, Jacksonville, Florida, and Jefferson City, Tennessee.

(Transportation and Warehouse are the two largest departments at each DC and typically operate 24/7.) Opportunity Summary: The Sanitation position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building / warehouse according to company standards. Daily duties will be performed both individually and collectively as a team.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. How you will make contributions that matter: Sweeping, mopping, detail work (cleaning underneath and wiping racks). Handling damaged cases, cleaning supplies, gathering wrap and cardboard. Use of a scissor lift for cleaning debris out of racking. Utilizing an electrical pallet jack to navigate around the warehouse to gather garbage and recyclables.

Handle warehouse spills. Extremely faced paced work environment. Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Bring

Education

– High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience – 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Required Skills or Abilities – Physical strength and fitness, the ability to lift 50lbs or more at a time, knowledge of proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, following safety guidelines, strong time management skills to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
