What You'll Do

As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will help lead the daily operations of our Dietary Department to ensure Veterans receive high-quality nutritional care.

Responsibilities include

Assisting the Registered Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the daily operations of the Dietary Department Ensuring nutritional services are provided in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary food service environment Supervising dietary staff and supporting efficient department operations Assisting with menu planning, food management, diet therapy, and cost control initiatives Promoting quality resident care through safe and effective nutritional services Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Graduate of an accredited dietetic training program approved by the American Dietetic Association Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other healthcare setting Training and experience in cost control, food management, and diet therapy Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential as required by state regulations Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Commitment to providing exceptional service and care to our Veteran residents Join a Mission That Matters When you join HMR Veterans Services, you're not just starting a job, you're becoming part of a team dedicated to serving those who have served our country.
