Project Chief Engineer (m/f/d)

Technical leadership of a team of Systems Engineers with assigned responsibilities within the project, serving as the primary interface to Project Management and the customer for all technical and organizational matters Definition and management of system requirements in close collaboration with Project Management Establishment of the Systems Engineering process and Systems Engineering Plan, including the organization of workflows and collaboration between technical departments and Project Management Definition of high-level technical concepts and system architectures to meet system requirements, in cooperation with Systems Engineers and subject matter experts Preparation of cost, schedule, and performance forecasts throughout the project lifecycle Organization of regular project checkpoints to monitor technical deliverables, schedule adherence, and cost performance, including assessment of ongoing development activities Review, coordination, and control of the evolving system design Acting as the technical authority for the system in the context of contract modifications, and initiating the implementation of agreed technical changes Ensuring effective technical communication, information exchange, and collaboration within the project team, across internal departments, and with external partners
