CNC Setup Machinist

The CNC Setup Machinist is responsible for fabricating parts on numerically controlled machine and working from design and specifications, determines machining requirements and prepares a mathematical definition of the part to be produced. They will edit programs as needed as well as ensuring operation of the machines.

This position will determine the proper speeds, feed and types of cutters needed to maximize machine efficiency. Prepares input for computer to generate actual machine control program. This position requires following standard work instructions of each required specification ensuring quality production of parts.
