Experienced Baker

Bakers Delight Berowra is seeking an experienced and motivated Baker to join our team. Key Responsibilities

Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products. Measure and prepare ingredients in accordance with production recipes and specifications. Monitor dough quality throughout the production process to ensure consistency and product quality. Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.

Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standards and production specifications. Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements at all times. Monitor stock levels and assist in minimising product waste. Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production targets and requirements.

Assist with cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment, utensils and work areas.

Requirements

Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time experience as a Baker. Relevant baking qualification, such as Certificate III in Baking or equivalent, is highly regarded. Previous experience working in a commercial bakery environment. Strong knowledge of bread production techniques and bakery processes. Ability to work early morning shifts and meet production schedules.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
