Quality Controller

Purpose of the job: To perform maintenance, quality control checks and calibration of the Mobile Manufacturing Units: Required output: Functional Calibration of MMUs Adherence to calibration of MMUs, Scales and lifting equipment Field support in other regions On-bench calibration of MMUs and quality support Perform engineering inspections, identify problems area and implement proactive maintenance Be actively involved in World Class initiatives Perform safety and health inspections and implement corrective action Perform any other related tasks as may be required from time to time Ensure that quality specifications are met and operational losses are minimized Qualification, Knowledge & Skills Requirements Matric Qualified Artisan (Trade Test/Red Seal) Electrical or Mechanical Pneumatic, electronics and hydraulic experience will be an advantage Drive Licence At least 5 years of relevant experience (preferably mining environment) Must be able to perform overtime duties and standby PLC fault-finding experience will be an advantage Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written, as dealing with customers will be an essential part of the duties Personal attributes Team player Be able to work under pressure Attention to detail Planning skills Problem solving skills AECI respects your right to privacy.
